Me? After 2years of working in Lane Systems as Software Development Manager, I finally decided to quit. Why? Honestly, my boss irreasonable attitude pissed me off. People work for happiness, fulfillment as well as money, I got tired of staying in the office all day and all night just to meet the deadline. I was like a walking dead body most of the time. Well generally, it wasn't a bad experience after all. I learned a lot from the company and from my boss. Siguro nagsawa lang talaga ako sa daily routine ko so I became unhappy.
Currently, I'm staying in Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat. This year, I started to do freelancing work and right now I work as a home-based web developer using internet as a means of communication with my current and prospective clients. It wasn't a stable job and no fixed income. But it's very exciting. I got to work with foreign people from abroad and using PAYPAL as payment mode.
This is also a time for me to embrace open-source technologies. It's like a new chapter of my programming career is starting....
